Articles Of Impeachment Already Popular

February 28, 2009

Tee Shirts Never Lie

Some Articles Of Impeachment Are Already Being Written

T-Shirts, bumper stickers, banners and other articles of impeachment are starting to show up on-line and all over the United States.

That’s right, Obama is already less popular than Bush was at this time during his first term.

Here’s just a few reasons why:

-His incredible early arrogance in office which even members of his own party are calling a blatant power grab.

-His complete disregard for how congress is supposed to work where they are actually given enough time to read and understand legislation before signing it.

-His selling out on a promise to change government for the better by immediately changing it for the worse.

-His suddenly very obvious socialistic agenda.

The American taxpayer’s revulsion at the continuous ongoing bailouts, which has created a taxpayer revolt and given rebirth to the slogan that started the American Revolution, “no taxation without representation.”

–His ugly connections to people, including his wife, who’ve professed outward, vehement hate for the United States both with their words and actions.

The treasonous crime of selling out United States’ Rights of Imminent Domain to the Chinese in order to borrow all the money he wants to give to people who never earned any.

Obama’s Approval Lower Than Bush After 1-Month

February 28, 2009

As Obama-loving media gush and swoon while they report the new President’s popularity, an inconvenient truth emerged Tuesday that seems destined to get ignored: after one month in office, George W. Bush was more popular than the current White House occupant.

Impossible, you say?

Well, before Obama stepped in front of Congress this evening, Gallup published the following:

For the first time since Gallup began tracking Barack Obama’s presidential job approval rating on Jan. 21, fewer than 60% of Americans approve of the job he is doing as president. In Feb. 21-23 polling, 59% of Americans give Obama a positive review, while 25% say they disapprove, and 16% have no opinion.

Almost exactly eight years ago, then newly-elected President Bush’s numbers were 62 percent approving his performance, 21 percent disapproving, and 17 percent having no opinion (scroll about 3/4 down this Polling Report link).

As such, regardless of how hard media are working to foster this view that this is the most popular president in the modern era, such is not the case.

In fact, even ABC’s director of polling reported Tuesday that Obama’s current numbers are actually quite average with George H. W. Bush, John F. Kennedy, and even Jimmy Carter being more popular after just a month in the White House.

I somehow doubt this will get a lot of attention from the teeming hordes of press members who worked so diligently to get him elected.

Trump Says Destroy OPEC

February 28, 2009

In a special Fox news interview last night, Donald Trump spoke oput about OPEC, the Oil Producing countries from which we get most of our petroleum products.  Trump’s point of view was simple, oil prices are down now, because our economy is down, as soon as any recovery happens, Trump said, “OPEC will go back to sucking the life right out of it with increased prices on oil.”  According to Trump last night, the only thing that’ is ever going to provodie complete economic relief to the United States is to destroy OPEC.

Trump also lamented the huge speding being done currently by the Obama Administration, saying that there is no way the country can afford to keep spending money at the current level, with Obama spending more cash it it’s first three weeks than the Bush Administration spent in 8 years.

Taxpayer Revolt, Obama Inspires Tea Parties

Angry Americans Did It Once And Can Do It Again

Angry American's Did It Once And Can Do It Again

The pouring rain did not stop Allen LaBerteaux, 41, of Lilburn, from joining hundreds of protesters Friday who rallied at the Capitol against the federal stimulus package and government bailouts.

The state employee came with tea bags in his pockets to join what had been dubbed an Atlanta Tea Party protest against massive spending bills.

For LaBerteaux, the $787 billion federal stimulus package is a step away from personal accountability.

“My concern is that this country is going down a dangerous path toward socialism and that’s not what my forefathers, or my ancestors, fought and died for,” said LaBerteaux.

Fellow protesters chanted, “Take back America.” One held a U.S. Navy Jack with its rattlesnake and the words, “Don’t Tread on Me.”

About a dozen such protests took place across the country Friday, inspired by Rick Santelli of CNBC, who went on a spontaneous on-air rant on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade last week against Obama’s proposed mortgage bailout. He said the bailouts encourage bad fiscal behavior. Santelli mentioned holding a tea party to protest the idea, like the Boston Tea Party, when colonists protested unjust taxation from England.

The idea took on a life of its own, and Friday, tea party protests were held in Nashville; Jacksonville; Wichita, Kan.; Lansing, Mich.; St. Louis; Omaha, Neb.; Houston; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; San Diego; and Washington, D.C., according to news reports.

About 300 protesters showed up in Atlanta to protest the stimulus bill and other bailouts.

Leah Dukes drove from Greensboro, Ga., to lend her support. “Taxation has gotten away from representing the people,” she said.

Supporters of the stimulus package say it is designed to jump-start the economy with public works construction, new jobs and tax cuts for millions of Americans. Georgia stands to receive $6 billion from the package at a time when the state is facing deep cuts because of the tanking economy.

But protesters at the Capitol said the federal aid is a bad idea and that congressional Democrats are mortgaging America’s future.

They handed out One Trillion dollar bills with the faces of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada).

State Republican politicians lined up to speak in the rain, including gubernatorial hopefuls Insurance Commissioner John Oxendine and Rep. Austin Scott (R-Tifton), with a message of change at the ballot box.

State Senate Majority Leader Chip Rogers (R-Woodstock) spoke too, urging the crowd to find socialists in office and “kick them out.”

Obama Sells Out US Land To Borrow From China

February 28, 2009

It looks like our wonderful new administration is granting the Chinese eminent domain as collateral for US debts. Yea you read that right. That means when we can no longer pay for all this massive spending the Chinese can call in the loans and take our land.

The thought that American citizens and businesses could lose their land as a means of payment is downright scary. I highly doubt ANY American citizen would have voted for Obama if they knew this was coming down the pike.

LiveLeak.com has the story and appears to have confirmation from both governments.

The written agreement was brought to Beijing by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and was formalized and agreed-to during her recent trip to China.

This means that in the event the US Government defaults on its financial obligations to China, the Communist Government of China would be permitted to physically take — inside the USA — land, buildings, factories, perhaps even entire cities – to satisfy the financial obligations of the US government.

Put simply, the feds have now actually mortgaged the physical land and property of all citizens and businesses in the United States. They have given to a foreign power, their Constitutional power to “take” all of our property, as actual collateral for continued Chinese funding of US deficit spending and the continued carrying of US national debt.

What is amazing is that the administration would actually trust the chinese to not call in the debt. Seriously, if anybody in the chinese government get the bright idea that expansionism is a cool thing to do we are up shit creek.

Forget talking about socialism, we might end up half owned by communism before this is all over with. The irony is that China has discovered the beauty of capitalism in the last few years and yet our current government wants to get rid of it. What better way than to just hand it over?

How about that for some serious change you can count on? “Hope” you like losing your land to foreigners with the written authority of the U.S. government.

UPDATE: Seems the story originated here which also mentions this Bloomberg story citing the chinese wanting guarantees on the debt. It also suggests that the states knew this was coming with the recent activity of 11 or so states declaring their sovereignty.

Obama Using Fear To His Political Advantage

February 28, 2009

The Politics Of Fear In Full Swing

The Politics Of Fear In Full Swing

Barack Obama is spreading fear about the economy intentionally because he feels if people are afraid they will be less likely to offer resistance to his sweeping attempt to socialize America and put an end to Capitalism in this country.

What Obama and his cronies don’t understand is that you can’t redistribute wealth without screwing up the source from which wealth comes.

In other words, if you punish the 1% of the population that provides 40% of America’s tax revenue, and then you go ahead and take away deductions from people who are making over $250,000 a year, all the wealth that you seek to distribute is going to suddenly stop flowing because guess what?  Beating people over the head with a tax stick and punishing them for creating jobs and producing wealth is going to make them do what exactly?  It’s going to make them stop producing the wealth you need to distribute to your voting base.

So you think you are going to rob from the rich and give to the poor.  But you are really going to wind up punishing the poor, because the rich are going to stop producing all the money you need to pay for all the stuff you want to give people who don’t work very hard.  Obama’s headed for 1 term, or less, with Impeach Obama signs already showing up on the streets of the United States.

Byrd Criticzes Obama For Power Grab

February 28, 2009

Sen. Robert Byrd (D-W.Va.), the longest-serving Democratic senator, is criticizing President Obama’s appointment of White House “czars” to oversee federal policy, saying these executive positions amount to a power grab by the executive branch.

In a letter to Obama on Wednesday, Byrd complained about Obama’s decision to create White House offices on health reform, urban affairs policy, and energy and climate change. Byrd said such positions “can threaten the Constitutional system of checks and balances. At the worst, White House staff have taken direction and control of programmatic areas that are the statutory responsibility of Senate-confirmed officials.”

While it’s rare for Byrd to criticize a president in his own party, Byrd is a stern constitutional scholar who has always stood up for the legislative branch in its role in checking the power of the White House. Byrd no longer holds the powerful Appropriations chairmanship, so his criticism does not carry as much weight these days. Byrd repeatedly clashed with the Bush administration over executive power, and it appears that he’s not limiting his criticism to Republican administrations.

Byrd also wants Obama to limit claims of executive privilege while also ensuring that the White House czars don’t have authority over Cabinet officers confirmed by the Senate.
